Synopsis

Adriana is kidnapped by international sex traffickers and forced into a world of corruption and slavery, where her only hope for survival lies with her brother Jorge.

The American debut of Marco Kreuzpaintner, one of Germany's leading young directors, Trade is based on a screenplay by Academy Award nominee Jose Rivera (The Motorcycle Diaries). Inspired by Peter Landesman's chilling New York Times Magazine story on the US sex trade, Trade is a devastating expose of one of the world's most heinous crimes.
